Well, it still is a great substitute for Go To Meeting ;) But we do understand what you mean and are actually in the process of enhancing the uploader.
In the meantime, did you know you can save a PPT as images and upload to Black Tonic?
Be happy to help more if we can. Just keep us posted.
I am really impressed by what I have read so far about the possibilities of HTML5/Javascript. Blacktonic is a fantastic application built using these technologies.
But I suggest you see this service as a collaboration service. In which case sharing ppt or docs becomes as critical as sharing images.
The folks at http://vivu.tv/vivuweb/ have combined their own video conferencing capabilities with the omnipresent skype address book (contact list).
Blacktonic could be a real-time presentation sharing service leveraged with skype audio conferencing facilities.

Hi Rishi -
For now everything in Black Tonic requires uploading images. PowerPoint can be saved as images, and depending on which program you're working on you can save/export as images instead of pdf as well.
For graphic designers like us, the fastest workflow is actually to just take a screenshot and upload (that way you can skip the whole save/export process). Check out this FAQ to get started:
